Zack Godley
Vice President
Zack Godley has a profound understanding of nearly every facet of baseball. His remarkable journey began when he was drafted by the Mets following his senior year of high school, a pivotal moment that swayed his decision to pursue baseball over football in college. He initially attended Spartanburg Methodist Junior College, and after a year, he transferred to the University of Tennessee.
In his junior year, Zack went undrafted after attempting the draft process on his own. The next season, with help from Dan and his agency, he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 10th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, beginning his professional career.
After swiftly advancing through the Minor League’s, he solidified his place in the Majors towards the end of the 2016 season and successfully made the Diamondbacks' roster out of spring training in 2017. Over the next two seasons, he pitched over 333 innings, securing 23 wins for Arizona.
As Zack's playing career draws to a close, he is eager to leverage his extensive experience in the game to mentor the next generation of ballplayers. Partnering with Dan, who has been a steadfast supporter throughout his career, Zack aims to guide young talent. Together, they will provide invaluable, hands-on guidance to nurture their clients, focusing not only on their athletic development but also on their growth as individuals.
